Pro Shop & coaching related answers:
- Can you send me some ball layouts?
Answer: We will be happy to discus ball layouts with you in person, but we cannot send ball layouts out via mail, e-mail, or by fax.
You may ask your bowling questions at BowlingCommunity.com.
- I am having a problem getting a good reaction from my ball!
Answer: Since poor or undesired ball reaction can be related to a number of different things its best to discuss a reaction problem with 1) someone that can look at your ball, 2) someone that is familiar with your game, and 3) someone that can watch you throw a couple balls. If you are in our area, we would be happy to discuss this problem with you in person. If you are outside Vermont you can easily locate IBPSIA coaches and pro shops in your area with the the IBPSIA search engine on the IBPSIA web site. A search engine for USABowling Certified Coaches can be found at Bowl.com.
You may ask your bowling questions at BowlingCommunity.com.
- Can you coach me?
Answer: Yes, we provide on-lane instructions to Vermont Residences. Please call for more information.
- Can my child be coached?
Answer: If he/she is old enough to handle a bowling ball, he/she would benefit from professional coaching!
- When do you coach?
Answer: Coaching is only done by appointment. We prefer weekday afternoons, but other times maybe available. Please call for more information.
- How often should one be coached?
Answer: Its important to practice at least twice, for a minimum of one hour at each practice session, between lessons. This helps reinforce the new techniques you learned. Please keep this in mind when planning coaching lessons.
- Can you help me choose the right ball?
Answer: Since lane conditions vary so much from area to area and individual bowling styles can be so different we do not make equipment recommendations via telephone or e-mail. You should speak with a local pro shop operator or a certified coach for proper equipment recommendations. You can easily locate IBPSIA coaches and pro shops in your area with the the IBPSIA search engine on the IBPSIA web site. A search engine for USABowling Certified Coaches can be found at Bowl.com.

- I cant hook my ball, what do I do?
Answer: The first thing you want to consider is; accuracy is the number one key to high scores, not hook. Hook can look impressive, but remember, the goal is to knock down pins. Since learning to throw a hook shoot consistently is a difficult task its important to learn this style correctly. We recommend that you ask a certified bowling coach or pro shop professional to show you how and help you throw a couple shots. You can easily locate IBPSIA coaches and pro shops in your area with the the IBPSIA search engine on the IBPSIA web site. A search engine for USABowling Certified Coaches can be found at Bowl.com.

- I keep leaving the 7 pin, what do I do?
Answer: If you are constantly leaving the same pins each frame, its time you make a slight adjustment. Most likely your ball is not entering the pocket at the correct angle. You may want to try moving a few inches forward or backward until you achieve a strike. If you're unable to make the proper adjustment we suggest you seek help from a certified bowling coach.

- How much do you sell ___________ for?
Answer: We appreciate your interest in our Pro Shop, but, we do not sell equipment via mail order. We can only provide pricing information to bowlers in our immediate area in person or by telephone.
- How do I order a new or discontinued ball, bag, or pair of shoes from you?
Answer: We do not sell equipment via mail order. We would be happy to discuss the availability of discontinued equipment with you at our shop.
- No mail orders? Why?
Answer: When purchasing bowling equipment its very important to consider the different reaction each ball provides. It is virtually impossible to properly match the correct ball's reaction with your game and the lane conditions you bowl on without seeing you bowl first hand. The Internet resellers do bowlers a disservice by not properly informing bowlers of their options and by not properly matching equipment with each bowler's specific needs. You can easily locate IBPSIA Pro Shops in your area with the the IBPSIA search engine on the IBPSIA web site.
- I live out of the State of Vermont, can you coach me?
Answer: Since there are many great coaches throughout the World we only offer our coaching programs to Vermont residents. You can easily locate IBPSIA coaches and pro shops in your area with the the IBPSIA search engine on the IBPSIA web site. A search engine for USABowling Certified Coaches can be found at Bowl.com.
